Macharia Munene: One of the challenges that has been coming constantly is the question of where Kimathi is buried. I think the government knows where he is but the politics of it does not allow. Kimathi’s grave I believe is known and the reason I say that is because in 1968 GG Kariuki raised the question in Parliament and Mbiu Koinange gave an assurance to Parliament that they were looking after Kimathi’s grave and that he was going to be given a national heroic funeral
