ODM resolves to fire SG Sifuna; Busia’s Omanyo named acting SG

Odm's national executive committee has resolved to remove Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna as the party's secretary general, effective immediately. In a day-long NEC meeting held in Mombasa, the party's top decision-making organ accused the Nairobi senator of undermining the party’s position and the existing leadership structure. The ODM NEC has now called for an urgent national delegates convention to ratify its decisions.
