Only 18 per cent of Kenyans trust IEBC ahead of 2027 poll – TIFA

A new survey by Trends and Insights for Africa (TIFA) has revealed that only 18 per cent of Kenyans trust the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) as the country heads towards the 2027 General Election. The poll highlights a significant trust deficit in the electoral body, with a majority of Kenyans expressing scepticism about its ability to deliver a free, fair, and credible election.
