A section of Azimio One Kenya MPs staged a walkout from National Assembly in protest of the budget 2023/24 presentation. Led by National Assembly Minority leader Opiyo Wandayi, the lawmakers denounced Treasury Cabinet Secretary Prof Njuguna Ndung'u's budget pronouncement insisting that its making process was illegitimate. The opposition is now strategizing on how to stop the finance bill that enters third reading next week.
