Opposition threatens mass action over fuel price hike, gives govt 7-day ultimatum

The united opposition has threatened to call for nationwide mass action should the government fail to reduce fuel taxes, saying Kenyans cannot bear any more burden arising from the spike in fuel prices. As Emmanuel too now reports, the opposition has claimed that President William Ruto is the beneficiary of the historic price changes, even as it called for the resignation of Energy CS Opilo Wandayi and the CS for Trade and Industry, Lee Kinyanjui.
