Opposition wants gov’t to re-evaluate compensation packages

The united opposition leaders who are on a tour of Kwale County now want the president and the government to re-evaluate the proposed compensation packages for the victims of protest deaths and injuries. The leaders say the compensation package as proposed is not commensurate with the damages suffered by the victims. They have also castigated the government and the president for failing to curb the runaway rise in cost of living.
