Over 7,000 flood-affected schools mapped ahead of El Niño rains

Over 7,000 schools affected by floods during the previous rainy season have been mapped as the government moves to avert disruption of learning during the expected El Niño rains. The National Disaster Operations Centre says it is working jointly with the Ministry of Education to enhance the safety of learners. NDOC Director, retired Colonel David Samoei, has also warned against using schools as IDP camps. Serfine Achieng Ouma reports.
