Police arrest suspect after child dies in Bomet assault

Police officers in Konoin Sub-County, Bomet County, have arrested a person of interest in connection with the brutal assault of two children in Taboino village, Cheptalal location. According to a police report, a nine-year-old girl succumbed to her injuries while her 13-year-old brother remains hospitalised at Longisa Hospital, nursing serious wounds. The suspect was apprehended shortly after the girl’s death on Friday, November 7, 2025.
