Chaos erupted in Kakamega town as alleged supporters of Cleophas Malala clashed with police officers. The Democracy for the Citizens Deputy party leader, who was among opposition leaders caught up in the melee, vowed not to relent in what he described as a journey towards liberating Western Kenya from political suppression.
