WAR ON ILLICIT DRUGS
Police in Lugari ,Kakamega county have seized 20 kilograms of bhang estimated to be over 200,000 shillings and arrested one suspect. Lugari Deputy County Commissioner Jeremiah Tumo says the officers laid an ambush and intercepted a vehicle transporting the narcotics following a tip off from members of the public. Tumo reaffirmed that security agencies in Lugari will not relent in the fight against the sale and use of illicit drugs in the area, saying those involved will be dealth with according to the law. The suspect is held at Lumakanda Police Station.
