TENSION IN BARINGO
Police in Marigat, Baringo South lobbed teargas to disperse herders who stormed the police station following the seizure of cattle that had invaded people’s farm in Perekera irrigation scheme. The herders, who are from Kiserian and Mosuro, are said to have grazed cattle in the scheme which had crops ready for harvesting resulting into the escalating tension.
