The all-female karate entity Power Girl team has begun a series of karate empowerment sessions known as the power girl programme in a bid to encourage more girls to try out karate as a sport. The aim of the power girl programme that kicked off in Nairobi is to see girls gain skills in karate and embrace the sport as a whole to enable them become valuable members in the society. It also offers a safe space for the ladies to learn more about their mental health and careers.
