The Central Bank Of Kenya has officially rolled out the Central Bank dhow Central Security Depository (CSD), a web platform, and a mobile app that will allow retail investors in Kenya and abroad to invest in government securities in an easy and convenient way. the new platform President William Ruto launched will enable retail investors to participate in securities auctions and view auction results and payment details. President William Ruto has further called on CBK to review their procedures of on-boarding investors, to allow those who don’t own a bank account but have a Mpesa account to trade.
