President Ruto commissions development projects in Murang’a

    President William Ruto has officially launched the upgrading to bitumen standards of Kiriko-Kagumoini-Gitugi-Chui-Karugia road, in Mathioya constituency, Muranga County The president announced that his administration has committed Ksh.2 billion towards the completion of the remaining sections of Mau Mau roads, enhancing connectivity across the Mt Kenya region. The president made the announcements as he embarked on his tour styled as a two-day development tour of Murang’a County. The president warned against divisive and abusive politics, urging leaders and citizens to shift focus towards unity, development, and issue-based engagement. He said his government is working to streamline the tea sub-sector. Lands and Housing Cabinet Secretary, Alice Wahome, says the county has secured affordable housing and modern market projects worth 27 billion shillings.
