President Ruto kicks off his two-day tour of Murang’a County

President William Ruto has defended his performance as the country's chief executive on the first day of his two-day tour of Murang’a County in Mount Kenya, insisting that he has fulfilled the promises he made to residents, including improvements in the coffee, tea, and milk sectors, while calling for support for his bid for a second term in office. However, remarks and attempts by the president's ally Lands CS Alice Wahome, to pressure Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro to stop criticizing the government and work with President Ruto were not well received by some locals.
