The private security sector is demanding urgent government action over alleged exploitation of workers and widespread violation of minimum wage regulations. Addressing the media in Nairobi, the Kenya National Private Security Workers Union Secretary General Isaac Andabwa, accused some employers of hiring foreign nationals at extremely low wages, a move he says is denying Kenyans employment opportunities while undermining the country’s labor laws.
