The Principal Secretary (PS) for Public Works,Mr Joel Arumonyang, presided over a successful sensitization session for leaders and stakeholders at Kapenguria in West Pokot, aimed at promoting the Nyota Project, a government initiative targeting youth employment across the 47 counties in Kenya.
The project is supported by the World Bank and specifically targets youth aged 18-29 years, especially those with education levels of form four and below.
Ps Arumonynag reported that over 200 participants, including leaders from both county and national government, such as the County Commissioner, Deputy County Commissioners, Assistant County Commissioners, chiefs, and representatives from the County Executive Committee, along with media and development partners, attended the Kapenguria session.
