The Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Corporation (REREC) has completed the electrification of over 305 households in Dibe and Gubani villages in Garsen constituency, Tana River county. Energy and Petroleum Cabinet Secretary Opiyo Wandayi says the 34.8 million shillings project is a start in government’s efforts to empower rural populations into stimulating growth through social economic activities.
