Revenue sharing formula splits UDA leaders

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has called for a ceasefire among Kenya Kwanza leaders over what he terms, 'divisive politics' asking them to instead focus on supporting President William Ruto in delivering development as promised to Kenyans. However, the debate over the distribution of resources to regions in the country continues unabated by a section of leaders from the Mount Kenya and rift valley regions, with Laikipia east Member of Parliament Mwangi Kiunjuri saying that a new change to the resource allocation formula should be subjected to a referendum.
