Rex Masai Inquest: Bullet fragments didn't match police guns, court told

We start with the Rex Masai death inquest, in which a forensic ballistics expert at the DCI laboratory, Alex Mutindi Mwandawiro, told the court that three pistols submitted to the DCI lab for analysis did not fire the bullet casing presented by IPOA for examination. And although the former Central Police Station Commander claimed that only rubber bullets were used during the protest, Mwandawiro differed, stating that the fragments submitted were from a live round.
