The family of a woman identified as Rita Waeni Muendo murdered in a Roysambu AirBnB claims that the murder suspect demanded ransom of Ksh500,000 Sunday morning before the death of their daughter made headlines. In a statement released Wednesday, the family says that after receiving the message for ransom, they immediately reported the matter to police for investigations only to discover later that their daughter had already been murdered.
