Ruto dismisses Gachagua influence claims during Mt. Kenya tour in Murang’a

President William Ruto says he will receive strong support from the mt kenya region because the region does not have a single kingpin who can decide who the people of mt kenya will vote for in the presidential election. The president says he does not need to be endorsed by anyone to convince mt kenya residents to vote for him, saying his development record will speak for itself. Leaders from Murang’a County and the wider mt kenya region continued to insist that Kithure Kindiki will remain the deputy president in the next general election.
