President William Ruto hosted Migori Youth FC, the 2025/26 National Super League champions, at State House Nairobi on Monday, where the team presented their NSL trophy and received a brand-new bus from the Head of State.
Led by chairman Aziz Abdi Osman, the team appealed to the President for continued support as they prepare for their maiden season in the Kenya Premier League after earning promotion for the first time in 20 years. President Ruto handed over the bus, fulfilling a pledge he had made to ease the team's travel for matches across the country. Earlier in Migori County, the President said the government is constructing a modern stadium to provide the team and the wider community with a quality facility for nurturing local talent.
