William Ruto has launched the Next Generation Youth Employment Programme, saying it is aimed at addressing the country's youth unemployment challenge.
Speaking during the launch of a partnership with United Nations Development Programme and Kenya Private Sector Alliance, the President announced that all university and college graduates will be guaranteed a one-year paid internship. The government has allocated KSh2 billion to the programme, with additional funding expected from development partners.
