Ruto reaffirms Mt. Kenya ties amid political tensions

President William Ruto has reaffirmed his ties to the Mt. Kenya region, dismissing claims by critics that he has abandoned the region after forming a broad-based government with ODM,Including favoring Nyanza Region with appointments in government and neglecting Mt Kenya. Speaking during a meeting with Kirinyaga residents at State House, Nairobi, the President insisted he will not sideline Mt. Kenya and that he will fulfill his promises to the region despite opposition from his Former Deputy Rigathi Gachagua.
