President William Ruto has vowed to spearhead development projects to catalyze the economic and social development of Ukambani Region. Speaking during the Mashujaa Day celebrations at Ithookwe Stadium in Kitui, Ruto pledged to visit the region for a working tour in two weeks time. At the same time, he scoffed at those he says are perpetuating partisan politics in the region that has hampered development over the years.
