Ruto unveils multi-billion projects for North Eastern during Madaraka Day in Wajir

President William Ruto has announced the expansion of Wajir International Airport and the completion of Wajir Stadium among other initiatives, as he unveiled projects worth billions of shillings for the North Eastern region, a frontier he apologized for being sidelined for decades. The Head of State, who led the 63rd Madaraka Day celebrations in Wajir County, also announced a raft of measures including the establishment of a Sh5 billion county livestock investment initiative to support pastoralists in 21 ASAL counties.
