Samburu leaders decry return of criminals targeting PSV’s

Leaders from Samburu county are raising concerns over what they say is the re-emergence of criminals targeting public service vehicles along Maralal-Opiroi- Baragoi highway.Led by the county governor Lati Lelelit, the leaders are calling on security agencies to deal with the problem saying the security of the people is not negotiable. Meanwhile the residents of Trans Mara area of Narok County have been urged to make use of the current government amnesty and voluntarily surrender any illegally owned firearms before the grace period comes to an end.
