Seven year old Ian Baraka undergoes successful reconstructive surgery at KNH

Ian Baraka, a 7 year old boy from Igembe North Meru County whose face was disfigured following a gunshot wound in 2023 has been discharged from Kenyatta National Hospital. This follows a successful complex reconstructive surgery. Speaking after his discharge Ian’s Mother Bessy Kinya, could not hide her joy and gratitude to the team of doctors for restoring her sons smile.
