Kenya and Uganda are set to mark a major milestone in regional infrastructure as William Ruto and Yoweri Museveni preside over the groundbreaking ceremony for the extension of the Standard Gauge Railway (Kenya) from Naivasha to Malaba. Roads and Transport CS Davis Chirchir inspected preparations at the Kibos SGR site in Kisumu, stating that the project will enhance transport, reduce cargo costs, and strengthen trade across East Africa.
