Suspect arrested in Bungoma drug bust, 64 brooms of bhang seized

Kenyan authorities have arrested a suspect in Misanga Village, Bungoma County, in a targeted operation against the illegal drug trade. The National Police Service (NPS) confirmed that officers from Brigadier Police Station in Tongaren Sub-County apprehended the individual on Sunday afternoon after acting on a public tip-off. The suspect was found in possession of 64 brooms of cannabis, commonly known as bhang, which was secured as evidence at the station.
