Three killed in Kisumu multi-vehicle accident, Duale’s motorcade aids rescue

Three people have died and five others remain hospitalized following a multiple-vehicle accident along the Kisumu–Busia road on Sunday. Conflicting accounts have emerged over what happened. The Ministry of Health stated that Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale’s motorcade had stopped at the scene to coordinate emergency medical assistance for the victims. However, witnesses say a car in the convoy was driving on the wrong side, colliding with a tuk-tuk and a passenger van.
