National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula has hailed the government for what he says is prioritizing education through employment of the highest number of teachers within the shortest period since independence. Speaking to Bumula Constituency residents in Bungoma County, Wetangula said 76,000 teachers have been employed in two years, and an additional 24,000 teachers are set to be recruited under the 2025/2026 financial year.
