Two arraigned over illicit brew in Baringo; one jailed for two years

A suspect linked to a deadly wave of illicit alcohol sweeping through Baringo, leaving a trail of broken families and deaths, pleaded guilty to the offence and was sentenced to two years in prison. Another suspect pleaded not guilty and was detained awaiting a decision on a bail application. As Maryanne Nyambura now reports, Eldama Ravine residents staged a demonstration to protest what they termed as laxity by authorities in dealing with the deadly brews.
