    A week after ODM Central Management Committee lashed out at their broad-based partners for what they claimed were attempts to intimidate them and infiltrate their stronghold bases, President William Ruto stepped in to end the unease that was threatening to jeopardize planned negotiations towards a political coalition. In a reconciliation meeting held at State House, Nairobi, co-chaired by President Ruto and ODM leader Oburu Odinga, the two parties agreed on a framework to streamline their relations and end wrangles.
