A group of university students from Rangwe Constituency have taken legal action against the Rangwe NG-CDF Fund Manager and the CDF Committee, accusing them of mismanaging bursary disbursement. The students allege delays and lack of transparency in the distribution of funds meant to support their education, claiming the process is marred by favoritism and poor accountability. In their petition, they demand a more equitable and transparent system for allocating bursaries. The Rangwe NG-CDF legal team has been given seven days to file a response, with the court expected to deliver a ruling on July 24th.
