    Efforts to protect the region’s critical infrastructure and public spaces from terrorist threats took center stage Monday as the 5th Nairobi Caucus officially kicked off in Kenya’s capital. Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, officiating the start of the two-day high-level meeting, urged regional states and global partners to strengthen collective security capabilities to fight evolving threats. 200 delegates from 24 countries, including UN entities and international security organisations, attended the meeting.
