A section of lawmakers allied to the broad-based government, led by National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula and Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris, have declared support for President William Ruto, warning against the resurgence of ethnic-driven politics. The leaders, who spoke during an education fundraiser at Bidii Comprehensive School in Makadara, also weighed in on growing factional divisions within ODM, backing party leader Oburu Odinga to rein in what they termed as internal rebellion threatening party stability.
