More than half the current members of parliament may not be re-elected to their offices in next year’s general election. This is according to the speaker of the national assembly, Moses Wetang’ula, who attributed his observations to a report. Speaking in Naivasha, Nakuru County, during a national assembly retreat, Wetang’ula called on the MPs to prepare for life after parliament as preparations for the 2027 general election get underway.
