Wimwaro FM, a leading vernacular radio station broadcasting in Embu and Mbeere dialects, today celebrated 18 years since its launch in March 2008. Wimwaro FM has grown into a trusted voice within the Embu community, earning widespread recognition for its role in informing, educating, and entertaining its audience. Speaking during the celebrations, Mbeere North Member of Parliament Leo Wa Muthende praised the station for its role in enlightening the community and commended its founder, SK Macharia, for creating a platform that amplifies the voices of the Embu people.
