Sirisia MP John Walukhe now spend 67 years while his co-accused Grace Wakhungu will spend 69 years in prison if they fail to pay 1 Billion shillings fine each. This is after the High court upheld the ruling by a Magistrates court in June 2020 committing the two to jail if they fail to pay the fine. In the meantime, the High court has also overturned the acquittal of immediate former Kipipiri MP Amos Kimunya and three of his accomplices in a 60 Million shillings land fraud case facing them.
