The government has re- launched National Youths Opportunity towards advancement (NYOTA) a government of Kenya initiative in partnership with the world bank to address youth an employment in the country.
Speaking in Kilifi, principal secretary for youths affairs Fikirini Jacobs said the initiative is aimed at providing skills training, job experience and interprenuaship support.
Jacobs stated over 800,000 youths will benefit across the country,as 20 billion shillings will be spent to implement the projects.
He further said that the sectors aimed include, transport, ICT, Agriculture, Manufacturing and creative economy among others .
