If recent events are anything to go by, then a cultural renaissance led by Gen Z and millennials is in full swing in Kenya. The organisers of these events are young Kenyans who are redefining cultural expression by planning high-energy, sold-out cultural festivals. From the Kamba festival, a celebration of Kamba culture, to Ngemi, a vibrant Kenyan cultural festival rooted in Kikuyu tradition. Not forgetting the fisherman's experience by Coster Ojwang, which offers an immersive Luo culture experience. These are just a few of the many upcoming cultural events organised by young Kenyans.
