President William Ruto and Deputy President Kithure Kindiki have donated Sh10 million to the family of late singer Betty Bayo.The donation was made on November 20, the same day Bayo was buried.The donation will go towards supporting Betty Bayo’s children.
Speaking during the funeral in Kiambu, Deputy President Kiture Kindiki stated that together with his wife and family, they would contribute Sh5 million.
Kindiki also stated that while on his way to Kiambu, he spoke to President William Ruto, who sent him with Sh5 million.
