A new initiative aimed at enhancing the safety and well-being of female journalists has been launched in Kenya. The programme, spearheaded by the Association of Media Women in Kenya in partnership with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation, seeks to equip them with digital safety skills, psychosocial support and stronger workplace protections ahead of the 2027 General Election.
