Casual labourers in Busia decry 9 months of working without salaries

More than 60 workers employed by Busia county government to sweep the town have downed their tools to protest delayed salaries running for 9 months now. The labourers who are demanding up to three million shillings in delayed salaries say they have been going through a difficult time making ends meet, adding that the manager has been sending them around county offices without answers.
