Kiprono Chemitei of the UDA has officially been declared the winner of the Baringo Senate by-election, following the announcement by County Returning Officer John Mwangi. The poll recorded a turnout of 72,580 voters—25% of registered voters—with 72,456 valid votes cast. Chemitei secured an overwhelming lead across all six constituencies, amassing 55,246 votes, far ahead of his closest challenger, Steve David Kipruto of the Republican Liberty Party, who received 13,037. Other candidates recorded minimal tallies, with Benjamin Chebon garnering 2,863 votes, Shadrack Kaplawat 527, Samuel Letasio 488, and Daniel Kurui 295.
