CYCLISTS URGE MOMBASA COUNTY TO BUILD PROTECTED BIKE LANES FOR SAFER AND GREENER TRANSPORT

Cyclists, road safety advocates, and urban mobility experts are calling on the Mombasa County Government to invest in dedicated cycling infrastructure to make roads safer and promote sustainable transport. Speaking during World Bicycle Day celebrations in Nyali, Mombasa, Deputy Governor Francis Thoya said the county is working to promote cycling as part of its green mobility agenda aimed at reducing traffic congestion, air pollution, and carbon emissions.
