Residents of Matisi, led by Reuben Oroni, are demanding answers from Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya over the failure to tarmac the Matisi-Kipsongo Road despite funds reportedly being allocated for the project years ago.
The residents claim that instead of completing the planned road, the contractor diverted works to Shanti Estate, leaving the Matisi-Kipsongo section unattended. They are now calling on the county government to explain the status of the project and account for the funds that had been disbursed.
