The Kenya National Union of Teachers Nairobi Branch has a new leadership following the conclusion of a tightly contested election. Nyamae Kasina is the new Union's Chairperson after garnering 1,647 votes, defeating Nancy Nancy Macharia, who garnered 48,2 as Mugwe Macharia clinched the position of Executive Secretary. The newly elected leaders have pledged to champion teachers’ welfare and push for improved working conditions in the city.
